Bloomingdale's is America's only nationwide, full-line, upscale department store and a division of Macy's, Inc. It was founded in 1872 and currently operates 47 Bloomingdale's stores throughout 13 U.S. States, including seven Bloomingdale's, The Outlet Stores. In 2010, Bloomingdale's opened its first international location in Dubai. Stocking the hottest brands across categories including women's, men's, children's and home, Bloomingdale's locations also boast various restaurants, personal shopping services in every store and is internationally cheered for its sprawling first floor beauty destination at 59th Street, The BWay. Its floors also frequently double as event spaces for designer trunk shows as well as special concerts and celebrity appearances during fashion's biggest party of the year, Fashion's Night Out. Bloomingdale's is also credited for creating the first designer shopping bags and today, the stores' many creative renditions of the "brown bag" during holidays and special times throughout the retail year have become collector's items.
